Subject: Apparently this must have been your snapshot being on Tumblr
Hello
i saw you wandering on the Tumblr, you won’t be able to reject my patience ;+P
I am very sorry but i am very overwhelmed with my sister’s sickness, and I didn’t remember e-mailing you. Well, I don’t know how, but is it a dry day so down South? Anyway, my place is now being leased by some character and i relocated to a far away place with my cats.
Will you contact me if and when you have time?
Karen Moore
Dearest Karen,
Sometimes I wake up at night in a cold sweat and wander the Tumbler aimlessly. I presume it is in part because our great grandmother, Anfisa Vladlena Matryoshka, used to sleep walk and wander the tundra in her nightclothes. It brings me peace knowing that I can wander the digital wastelands from the comfort of my own warm bed when our ancestors had to brave the elements in order to do their own meditative wandering.
It’s OK that you have had to tend to your sister’s illness. I understand that immediate family always comes first and when the zombie apocalypse arrives it is they that we will rely on most. I do hope, dear, that you have tested to secure your amateur radio license. It is not the licensing that is as important as learning the basics of radio usage, antenna theory, and the fine art of “funkspiel” or “radio games” that the enemy is likely to engage in when we attempt to distribute counterintelligence. Both of our families have a long history of technical acumen so I don’t doubt that it will come as second nature to you.
Here in the tropics, our rainy season has finally passed after several long months. My moccasins have only just begun to dry despite having lain near the hearth for several days. I have had to use father’s old pair in the mean time and I am impressed by how worn and comfortable they are — those long treks through the jungle must have really invigorated him after mother passed from her long battle with pineal cancer. I hope you have a good opthamologist that gives your pineal eye a thorough annual exam. We can’t be too careful when it comes to our health you know.
I am sorry to hear that your insouciant ex-husband won’t move out of the house you own but it sounds like he is at least paying rent now so that’s an improvement, isn’t it? My cats managed to convince me to relocate as well but this time closer to the city. They tell me the rats taste better here than they do nearer the jungle but I have yet to take them up on their offer to dine with them in the evenings.
with fondest regards,
Yulia
